Terms of sale and use

1. Who sells
Zonaris Audio is the trading name of «LEGAL ENTITY», registered at «REGISTERED ADDRESS», in Colombia. By buying or installing any Zonaris Audio plugin you accept these terms.
Payments are processed by Paddle, acting as merchant of record. Paddle issues your invoice and collects any tax due in your country.
2. What you buy
You buy a licence to use, not the software itself. The plugin, its code, its interface and its presets remain the property of Zonaris Audio.
The licence is perpetual for the major version you bought: it cannot be taken away and it does not expire. It is not a subscription.
3. How many machines
Each licence activates on two machines at once, meant to be your own — the studio machine and the laptop, for instance.
You can release an activation yourself from your account, without writing to us and without waiting. If a computer dies before you released it, write to us and we will sort it out.
There is no dongle. Activation is a one-off step; after that the plugin runs offline indefinitely and never asks for a network again.
4. What you may do
Use the plugin in commercial work without limit and without royalties: records, advertising, film, live. You owe nothing on what you produce with it.
5. What you may not do
Resell, rent, lend or share your licence; distribute the installer; circumvent activation; or decompile or reverse engineer the plugin, except to the extent the law of Colombia expressly permits despite this clause.
6. Updates
Fixes and improvements within the same major version are free while the product is maintained. A future major version may carry an upgrade price; if it does, it will be announced beforehand, never applied retroactively.
7. Warranty
The plugin is provided «as is». We take considerable care that it works — it is built and run against an automated test suite on every change — but we cannot guarantee it is free of defects or compatible with every combination of operating system and host.
This clause does not limit any consumer rights granted to you by the law of Colombia that cannot be excluded by contract.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Zonaris Audio's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. We are not liable for lost work, damaged sessions or loss of profit. Keep backups of your work: that is good practice with any software, not only this one.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Colombia. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
